With a fantastic first half of the year, Dylan ‘DullenMIKE’ Neuhausen plays his way into the nominees for eFootballer of the Year for the third time.
It’s been a successful FIFA 21 season for NEO’s Dylan ‘DullenMIKE’ Neuhausen, especially internationally. At the beginning of the year, he won the FUT Champions Cup II. In the course of the season, a victory in the Regional Qualifier 2 and second place in the FUT Champions Cup IV were added to the list.
At the VBL German Individual Championship, he had to concede the title in the final to eFootballer of the Year 2020, Umut ‘RBLZ_Umut’ Gültekin.
“Of course I would still have liked to win the title. Especially because I won against Umut more often than I lost throughout the year. That was very unfortunate, but of course deserved in retrospect,” Neuhausen said in an interview with eSport.
‘DullenMIKE’ greets from the top
Not without reason, the 19-year-old greeted 2021 from the top of the European Xbox rankings after the accumulated successes. Even eSportsmen and experts agreed in the summer that ‘DullenMIKE’ was currently the best player in the world.
Although Neuhausen initially struggled with the switch to FIFA 22, recent tournament appearances show rising form in both singles and doubles.
“I was definitely completely satisfied with the last season,” ‘DullenMIKE’ sums up another strong year.
