With the Team of the Year (TOTY), EA Sports crowns the best footballers from 2021 with a special card in FIFA Ultimate Team. Who it will be will be voted on. eSport exclusively presents four Bundesliga players from the list of nominees.
The new year starts in FIFA Ultimate Team with the most renowned event: The Team of the Year (TOTY). For this event, EA Sports lets the year 2021 pass in review. Who scored the most goals, caused a sensation with their outstanding performances or made one brilliant save after another?
From 10 January at 17:00 until 18 January at 8:59, fans can vote for their favourite from a list of nominees. The list also includes players from the Bundesliga – four of whom will be presented exclusively by eSport. Here they are:
These four, and all nominees, can hope for a special card that has it all, because: The average of the overall ratings in recent years has been around 96.
Whether those four players will make it into the team will be decided on the EA Sports homepage. Presumably, as in previous years, there will be a 4-3-3 formation with several players to choose from in each position.
In addition, there will probably be the 12th man, who was previously determined by a player selection. When logging in, three players on loan were displayed, the card that was selected also acted as a ballot.
