Bundesliga third-placed SC Freiburg have extended the contract of their attacker Woo-Yeong Jeong. As usual, the Breisgau club did not disclose any contractual details.
“He has simply developed well and has improved even more this season,” said Freiburg’s sporting director Klemens Hartenbach. “In addition to his footballing skills, he brings a lot of energy and intensity to the pitch. Attributes that also embody our style of play.”
“I feel very comfortable with my team and am happy about my personal development and the strong first half of the season with the team. I want to build on that and achieve as much as possible with SC Freiburg,” said the 22-year-old himself, who joined from Bayern Munich II in 2019/2020.
Jeong played in all 17 first-round matches for SC Freiburg, scoring three goals on his way to third place in the table.
