The next Stuttgart player: Massimo leaves U 21 after positive test

In three days, the fourth VfB Stuttgart professional has tested positive for the coronavirus. Roberto Massimo (21) has already left the German U 21.

First Waldemar Anton and Erik Thommy, then Fabian Bredlow and now Roberto Massimo. After the Corona wave in the summer, VfB Stuttgart is again threatened with trouble.

As the Bundesliga club and the German U-21 national team announced on Friday afternoon, Massimo’s Corona test came back positive. He has already left the quarters and is now going into domestic isolation.

“Due to the hygiene precautions taken beforehand, the U-21s can continue their stay at the Marienfeld monastery gate as planned,” the DFB said. VfB writes that Massimo “will not be available for the time being”.

The U21s will continue their European Championship qualifying campaign next Tuesday. In Szeged, Antonio Di Salvo’s team will face Hungary
