Despite playing 29 holes on the final day, Brandt Snedeker managed to hold his nerve and finish 21 under par in total. Heavy rain prevented 30 players from completing their 3rd round, meaning they had to go out in the morning of the final day to play the unfinished round before their fourth round.
Snedeker hits sub-60 round at Wyndham
Snedeker started and finished the Wyndham Championship strongly, taking the lead immediately and hitting a 59 in the opening round – he became one of only ten players to hit a sub-60 round in PGA history. Snedeker had won the competition back in 2007 and he never really looked like he was going to let his lead slip.
