Three-time Women’s Champion Toni Storm returns for the “Winter is Coming” TV special – with a visual and character transformation.
WWE rival AEW has one of its biggest female stars back: Toni Storm is back – and seeking revenge on Women’s Champion Mariah May.
At the end of the TV show Dynamite, which celebrated the annual “Winter is Coming” special this week, Storm made her comeback after a three-and-a-half-month absence. The New Zealander returned with her old music and look, her alter ego “Timeless” Toni Storm is history for now.

As a reminder, Women’s Champion May was introduced to AEW as a fan and ally of Storm, then bloodily betrayed her and dethroned her at the year’s climactic All In at London’s Wembley Stadium. The story of May and Storm – who two years ago reinvented herself as a nostalgic Hollywood diva – was inspired by the classic film “All About Eve”, in which a young actress takes the place of the aging Bette Davis.

Mina Shirakawa, her former partner in the STARDOM league, who has also been involved in the story with Storm for some time. The show then ended with Storm appearing on the entrance ramp, with May looking at her in horror.
Storm, who left WWE of her own accord due to her faltering career in late 2021, is now targeting her fourth title reign at AEW, which would make her the sole record champion there.
MJF vs. Adam Cole: The rematch is on
At Winter is Coming, AEW also set several matches for World’s End, the last Pay Per-View of the year on December 28: World Champion Jon Moxley will face Orange Cassidy, Jay White and Hangman Page in a four-way battle, while former champion MJF reignited his rivalry with Adam Cole.
Cole won the right to challenge MJF for his “Dynamite Diamond Ring” by beating his longtime companion Kyle O’Reilly at Dynamite.
More than a year after the main event of the first All In and countless twists and turns in the story, the two will now face off again, a rematch that had been delayed for a long time by Cole’s serious injury.
