Curry injures finger – George makes debut for the Sixers

The Golden State Warriors remain undefeated in the preseason, but in the second game against the Sacramento Kings, Stephen Curry injured his finger. Paul George made his debut for the Philadelphia 76ers.

The Warriors also won their third preseason game, against the Sacramento Kings, which was a close game for a long time. Neither team had much of an advantage with their starters, with Stephen Curry only playing just under 16 minutes and injuring his finger at the end of the first half. The point guard did not return and did not sit on the bench afterwards.

According to the Warriors, however, they have no cause for concern. Instead, Curry did his normal workout in the weight room after the game. The top scorers of the Dubs were Moses Moody (23, 7/13 FG) and Jonathan Kuminga (19), while all of the Kings starters scored in double digits. De’Aaron Fox (19) did the best.

Paul George had a good Sixers debut

The Sixers, on the other hand, suffered a defeat against the Timberwolves in Des Moines, Iowa. Joel Embiid stayed home, but Paul George made his debut and was immediately the top scorer with 23 points (8/15). Julius Randle and Rudy Gobert were missing for the Wolves, but Naz Reid (19) and newcomer Donte DiVincenzo (6, 2/7) started.

The Suns also suffered their first defeat of the preseason, with Devin Booker missing out with ankle problems in the second game against Detroit. The Pistons dominated the first three quarters, with Cade Cunningham (25, 10/16, 12 rebounds, 9 assists) putting in a particularly strong performance, while Kevin Durant (18) and Bradley Beal (17) were the top scorers for the Suns in each of their 24 minutes on court.
