Boban Marjanovic returns to Europe

Boban Marjanovic is returning to the EuroLeague. As his advisor Misko Raznatovic confirmed, the Serbian will join Fenerbahce

The center has spent the past nine years in the NBA, but has hardly played at all recently. Most recently, the giant was active for the Houston Rockets, but only played 14 games in which he averaged 3.2 points and 2.3 rebounds.

The 36-year-old will receive a one-year contract, but according to BasketNews this also includes an option for both sides to terminate the deal by January.

For the Turks, Marjanovic is another option at the big positions; in addition to Marjanovic, Khem Birch, Sertac Sanli and Nicolo Melli can also play at the five.

Marjanovic last played in the EuroLeague in the 2014/15 season, when the center averaged 16.6 points and 10.7 rebounds for Crvena Zvezda and was named MVP. In the NBA, Marjanovic played 331 games for the San Antonio Spurs, Detroit Pistons, L.A. Clippers, Philadelphia 76ers, Dallas Mavericks and the Rockets.
