This weekend, the San Marino Grand Prix will be held in Misano. The weekend after next (September 20-22), the MotoGP circus will be back in Misano for the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix. Marc Marquez, who is now also a race winner on Ducati, can approach the remaining races of the 2024 season in a more relaxed manner than before. However, he and the Gresini team are now setting themselves new goals.
“I achieved my goal for this season in Aragon,” said Marquez. Marquez and the Gresini Ducati Team have celebrated the Aragon triumph as time has allowed since then. But the six-time MotoGP World Champion has not only spent time with his current team members to enjoy the success.
“Yesterday we met up at the Gresini team for a good dinner. And it was also yesterday that I went to the Repsol Honda team pit to let the people there know that they are also part of this victory,” revealed Marquez.
