The 21-year-old attacking player has signed a long-term contract until the summer of 2030 with the Basque side, who were the Bulls’ group opponents in the Champions League last season. According to media reports, the transfer fee will be ten million euros. For Sucic, it is a farewell to the city of Mozart after eight years, where he went through the entire academy and subsequently matured into a regular in the professional team

Sucic had been playing for Mozartstädter since the age of 13 and finally made the leap to the professional team via the academy and after 26 games for cooperative club FC Liefering, for which he made his Bundesliga debut on September 13, 2020 in a 3-1 win over Wolfsberger AC at the age of 18 years and five days. In total, the ten-time Croatian international appeared in 128 competitive matches for Salzburg, contributing 18 goals and 19 assists.
