FC 24 and EM mode soon to be free in Xbox Game Pass Ultimate

Subscribers to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass will soon be able to play FC 24 for free via EA Play. The soccer simulation is moving into the gaming services to coincide with the European Championship – will this affect the servers?

The servers of FC 24 will be under even more strain: The soccer title from EA SPORTS will be included free of charge in Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass – both via EA Play – from June 25. This also applies to the European Championship mode, which the developer implemented a few days before the start of the tournament and adapted just in time after initial fantasy squad nominations.

As a result of the inclusion of FC 24 in the PlayStation Plus subscription, there had already been an increase in disconnections in May, which may have been partly due to the TOTS promo running in FUT at the time. Nevertheless, there are fears that the servers, which are already regularly prone to errors, could collapse again. Although EA SPORTS claims to have improved their stability once again with Title Update 16

Another trio of games the following day

Yesterday and today, the survival horror game Still Wakes the Deep and the farming simulation My Time at Sandrock were added to the subscription service. On June 20, the selection will be expanded to include the indie role-playing game Keplerth. EA SPORTS FC 24 will be followed on June 26 by the inclusion of the platform game SteamWorld Dig, SteamWorld Dig 2 and the action adventure Robin Hood – Sherwood Builders.

The Xbox Game Pass Ultimate costs 15 euros per month, while the PC Game Pass costs ten euros. Both subscriptions are also available for a trial period of 14 days for just one euro. A short-term test subscription could be worthwhile for players who only want to experience the virtual realization of the European Championship in FC 24. EA Play itself has recently become more expensive and has cost six euros per month since May
