The biggest wrestling event of the year is coming up – and this time, none other than Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will be actively involved again.
WrestleMania XL, the 40th edition of WWE’s annual highlight, takes place this weekend. At Lincoln Financial Field, the Super Bowl stadium in Philadelphia, the focus will be on two major duels: the rematch between three-and-a-half-year reigning Universal Champion Roman Reigns and challenger Cody Rhodes – and the comeback of megastar The Rock.
The Hollywood superstar returns to his old stomping grounds on Day 1 of the show, teaming up with his “blood brother” Reigns against rival Rhodes and World Champion Seth Rollins. Special clause of the match: If Rock and Reigns win, the title match on Day 2 will run under “Bloodline Rules”, with no rules. If Rhodes and Rollins win, all members of Reigns’ Bloodline, including The Rock, are banned from ringside
