FC 24: Eindhoven brings in world champion and eChampions League winner

PSV Eindhoven has made a major upgrade for FC 24. Thanks to a partnership with Team Gullit, world champion ‘ManuBachoore’ and eChampions League winner ‘EmreYilmaz’ will now take to the controller for the Red & Whites

They’ve won arguably the two biggest individual tournaments in FIFA 23 – and PSV have signed them both. Manuel ‘ManuBachoore’ Bachoore and Emre ‘EmreYilmaz’ Yilmaz were unveiled on Friday as the new representatives of Eindhoven’s eSports department. This automatically makes the Dutch club the top favorites to win the eDivisie title and any other team competitions in FC 24.

‘EmreYilmaz’ secured the European crown at the beginning of June. The Dutchman prevailed in the final round of the 2022/23 eChampions League. His compatriot and future teammate ‘ManuBachoore’ celebrated the biggest success of his eSports career around a month and a half later: he defeated Australian Mark ‘Mark11’ Zakhary in the final of the FIFAe World Cup to become world champion.

“Back home again!”: Return for the world champion

In FC 24, both will be wearing the PSV crest on their chest. This is made possible by a cooperation between Eindhoven and Team Gullit – the organization with which Bachoore and Yilmaz are under contract. Ali ‘aaygun96’ Aygün, who has been with the club since 2017 and won the eDivisie in 2021, completes the eSports squad of the current Dutch league leaders from the real pitch.

For ‘ManuBachoore’ it’s a return: the 18-year-old once started his competitive career at PSV. “Back home!”, announces the world champion on X. “I’m back where it all started. I’m looking forward to playing for Eindhoven again.” Bachoore is not only the reigning FIFAe World Cup winner, but also an eDivisie winner. He won the title twice in a row with Vitesse Arnhem in 2022 and 2023.

For ‘EmreYilmaz’, his move to Eindhoven marks the start of a “new era”, according to X-Post. The FIFA 23 virtual premier league winner said via Instagram: “I would like to thank everyone at Team Gullit and PSV Eindhoven for their trust in us. I can’t wait to get to work. I’m really looking forward to this season.” He also included his new teammate.
