Here, G2 Esports was trailing 0:2 and 1:3, but fought their way back and turned the game around in a final spurt.

Also qualified are Team Falcons, Moist Esports, KRÜ Esports, Spacestation Gaming, Complexity Gaming, Twisted Minds and Team Secret. In the group stage of the World Cup in disguise, G2 Esports will meet Rule One. The goal is to make it into the play-offs. To do so, two wins are needed in a double-elimination format.
The 2023 World Cup, in which Team BDS is looking to defend its title, kicks off this Tuesday at 17:00. For G2 Esports, winning the trophy would be special not only because of last year, but also because it is a home World Cup. The tournament will be held in Germany, in Düsseldorf, Germany.
