EA SPORTS FC 24: Mobile Beta launched – limited by country and link drop

EA SPORTS has officially communicated the start of the mobile beta for EA SPORTS FC on Tuesday. Players can get a first impression of the FIFA 23 successor – but under certain conditions.

At least on mobile, EA SPORTS FC 24 is already playable for some fans – in the mobile beta version. The developer promises, among other things, “new gameplay features and control mechanics, Locker Room customisation options, and upgrades to the menus and player details”. The pre-launch variant is available for both Android users and iOS users, but comes with certain limitations.

For Android, the mobile beta can only be played in Australia, Canada, Malaysia and Romania. There is still disagreement in the community about the successful use of VPNs to change the respective country of origin accordingly. For iOS, the beta will be released on Wednesday. Players can participate via links that EA SPORTS plans to publish via Twitter later today – in limited numbers, of course.

Console beta as early as next week?

Over and above the mobile version, numerous rumours are circulating about the start of the closed beta for consoles. On the basis of some authentic-looking screenshots, the starting signal is to be given next week. Various influencers and content creators consider 9 August the most likely date. The closed beta will include the career and kick-off mode of EA SPORTS FC 24 – a pre-load is probably possible.

On the consoles, EA SPORTS will apparently select the players themselves. Among the chosen few are said to be mainly people from the USA and the UK. In addition, the closed beta is limited to next-gen platforms. The publisher is expected to release more information regarding the upcoming test phase in the next few days.
