F1 22: Patch 1.10 lets you race through Shanghai

On Monday the patch 1.10 went live in F1 22. Smaller bug fixes also accompany a completely new track in Shanghai.

In the Chinese metropolis you can drive over the Shanghai International Circuit in the future. Once again not part of the Formula 1 schedule in 2022, the circuit in the Middle Kingdom is to be part of the racing calendar in the long term from the coming season. The racing circus extended the contract until 2025 in November last year. In F1 22, however, the track is of course immediately available and invites you to Grand Prix, time trials and multiplayer races, which have been available in crossplay since August.

Ferrari liveries and AI improvements

In order to stand out from the grid, special Ferrari liveries are also available for a limited time. With these, you can also leave the competition behind visually.

In addition, there were numerous minor revisions to the AI – for example, computer-controlled opponents are no longer supposed to drive excessively slowly in qualifying cooldown laps and thus block the track. In addition, the aggressiveness of the AI when overtaking has been increased somewhat. In the future, you will have to fight a bit more for your positions when a car approaches from the rear view mirror.

Another interesting feature for PC players is that problems with the curbs on computers have been fixed. Previously, the influence of the track boundaries had varied at different framerates. Thus, the impact of driving over the curbs varied in intensity. This should no longer be the case, so nothing stands in the way of free driving.
