Jayson Tatum scored a personal season-best 54 points to lead the Boston Celtics to an important home win over the Brooklyn Nets.
“It’s fun the way we’re playing. Everybody’s helping, we’re having fun,” the 24-year-old said on US television after the win against the team led by Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. Durant finished with 37 points in his second game back from injury, while Irving had 19.
For the Celtics it was the third win in a row and an important one in the fight for direct qualification for the playoffs. The Nets, on the other hand, conceded their fourth loss in a row and have pressure.
National player Daniel Theis played ten and a half minutes for the Celtics and scored three points and one assist, one rebound and one block in that time.
