Neymar signed a contract with Paris Saint-Germain last summer and only a few months later he was linked to a transfer to Real Madrid. Florentino Perez, president of the Royal Netherlands, did not shy away from the transfer complaints and even oiled the fire by saying that the Brazilian attacker would have more chance of winning the Ballon d’ Or. Perez’s statements are against Antero Henrique, sports director of the French superpower.
On the day that Cristiano Ronaldo won the Ballond’ Or for the fifth time, Perez made his statement about Neymar:”Real Madri would make it easier for him to win”, according to the driver. In preparation with the Parisien le Parisien, Henrique says that he finds the statements of Perez inappropriate:”It is not right for Cristiano Ronaldo to say so on the day he wins the Ballon d’ Or.
PSG paid Barcelona 222 million euro for Neymar last summer. Although rumours in French and Spanish media suggest otherwise, Henrique is convinced that the Brazilian is happy in Paris,”he loves the club and does well. It is not about money now, but about stability. Neymar has accepted our vision. He is very ambitious and PSG has offered him the ideal environment to realise his ambitions.
