Jose Mourinho

Though this may seem a bit unreal, there is every possibility of Jose Mourinho becoming the next Manchester United manager. The “Red Devils” are currently staggering at the 5th position in the League table and they need a significant boost to get back on the top. Mourinho’s representatives talked with the Manchester United officials and he may very well be back in the next season. Currently managed by Louis van Gaal, United had a rough season altogether, losing points in important games. The duration of his contract is till 2017, but LVG may be sacked well before the term ends. So is Mourinho, taking the job of his former mentor? Well that depends on so many factors and right now it is hard to make such an assumption.

Jose Mourinho

He won the Premier league with Chelsea, three times and has an enviable record. But is that enough to be the boss of Manchester United? After an awful season with Chelsea, Mourinho was sacked and replaced by Guus Hiddink. It was completely shocking as “The Special One” helped “The Blues” become the best team in England, seven months before his termination. Meanwhile, it can be a tactical move from United as former Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola becomes the manager of Manchester City, their arch‐rivals. Mourinho had a controversial career and he was always in the headlines for one reason or another. Van Gaal’s popularity among United fans has hit rock bottom and the idea of Mourinho becoming the new manager is somewhat interesting.

Very few clubs have a history that can be comparable to Manchester United and after Sir Alex Ferguson’s departure; the club has never been the same. He was with the club for 26 long years and the club achieved international glory under him, it became a force to reckon with. From tactical brilliance to amazing gameplans, Mourinho has proved to the soccer world, why he is among the best managers in the game. Well, Chelsea fans are not that happy with the decision but they will have to keep this in mind that Mourinho didn’t leave Chelsea, he was fired.
