Arno Philips, physical trainer and physical trainer/coordinator and rehabilitation physiotherapist Stijn Vandenbroucke will continue to be part of the staff of Feyenoord in the coming years, according to the reigning national champion Tuesday via the official channels. Both specialists signed a new multi-year contract until 2020 and 2021 respectively.
“I’m very happy with Feyenoord”, says Philips on the Rotterdammers’ website:”In recent years, we have been doing a great job together with the medical and performance staff. With the new training facility that will be delivered this summer, I expect that we can make further steps in this.
Vandenbroucke, who started working as a rehabilitation physiotherapist at Feyenoord as of this season, is pleased with the contract extension,”I am very happy with the trust of the club management, staff and the players. I am convinced of Feyenoord’s ambition and potential and look forward to setting the bar as high as possible.
Martin van Geel is pleased with the new commitments of both specialists:”Arno and Stijn are professionals with enormous national and international experience, who also make their contribution with great dedication every day. We are pleased that with all their specific qualities and knowledge, they stay with the club for longer”, says the technical director at the club site.
